Find out more about funding available from Bedfordshire Police Partnership Trust
Any community group can apply for funding but the main aim is to allow local police officers and other members of the police directly involved with the community to develop good ideas, normally based around Crime Prevention.
However, applications will be considered which generally come under the term of improving the quality of life of local communities.
The Partnership encourages applicants to speak to the trust administrator in the first instance to discuss their application – You can call us on 01234 842619.
Since its launch the Partnership has made over 500 grants to a whole range of projects throughout the county, including supporting the starting of youth clubs, sporting teams, skateboard parks, elderly peoples’ drop-in centres and policing and community days.
As a result of the projects supported, greater understanding has developed and it has been particularly encouraging to see some of the youth development involving people who are no strangers to the police, but are now showing more respect for themselves and their communities.
The partnership is happy to support a whole range of community initiatives and the Trust Administrator will be pleased to talk to anyone about their ideas to improve their community.
